It is unfortunate because this game has so much potential. The even bigger problem is a lot of people have this very same issue and yet the issue was never resolved. Yes, before you inquire, I have autosave enabled and whatnot. It is supposed to save it automatically when you exit but alas, it does not. The only problem I have (which, in a sense, is a game breaker) is that you cannot save your progress.

Overall, I enjoy the game but sometimes just stop playing it because my thought process is way faster than it allows to play. The game will force you to complete very specific task before you can continue, this is extremely aggravating. It will sometimes take hours to figure out all of the games requirements to continue moving forward even though you are aware of what needs to happen next. You have to follow the story line process or you will not be able to a dvance in the game. Instead the game will send you back to the crime scene latter and allow you to collect the rest of the evidence or more that you were already aware of. For example: When you start at a crime scene the game will only allow you to collect specific pieces of evidence and will prevent you from collecting all of the evidence at one time. The game is built on a story line bases which requires you to follow its' preset train of thought. Having played both games I can say that they are both good and have the same style of game play but they are extremely irritating at times. After receiving CSI Hard Evidence I decided to purchase the game CSI Miami. I am a big fan of CSI Miami and received the game CSI Hard Evidence for a gift.
